Then Dr. Joe checked his ears, poor Charlie did not like this at all he screamed and cried until it was all over, it we definitely worse then his shot. After Dr. Joe checked his ears the news he gave of was not great. Charlies ears had gotten significantly worse from last month. This month both of his ears now had fluid in them again and it was much thicker then what Dr. Joe would have liked to see, in simple terms he called it "glue ear". Dr. Joe had referred us to and ENT, Dr. Grayson Rodgers, who we will be seeing on Tuesday to find out if Charlie will need to get tubes. Even though the fluid is not infected, Dr. Joe is afraid that if it is not drained or doesn't drain it could muffle Charlies hearing and he could have trouble distinguishing words like mother and brother. Look for an update on Tuesday to see what the plan is.
