Like a Rolling Stone!

It appears Coleman has had a few big things happen over the last several days. This morning he was enjoying some tummy time (or as much as he could enjoy it) when he decided to roll over from belly to back. I went back to check and it appears that Charlie was about the same age when he rolled from belly to back for the first time as well!

Enjoy the video it may be a little dark because we did not have any lights on but you can still get the picture! My baby is growing up!

Grins and Giggles!

Coleman is getting so big yesterday morning I was playing with him while Josh was feeding Charlie breakfast and he started giggling at me. I could not get him to do it again for Josh but finally last night when we were all playing he started to giggle again and Josh was able to capture it on video!

Back in Business!

We are back in business, a big thank you to Josh for fixing the computer so I can now share pictures again!
Both boys are still doing great and their is not much to report so enjoy the few pictures I uploaded tonight!

Spring Has Sprung!

The weather has been perfect and most mornings you will find me pushing these two boys around the neighborhood in the morning. I will have to say that pushing the stroller alone is a great workout especially when going up hills!

Still Having Problems!

So I am still having problems loading pictures on the blog I just keep getting errors. I am going to have Josh work on it tonight to see if maybe he can figure it out for me. I even tried loading the pictures onto the computer to see if that would help but no suck luck.

Even without pictures I wanted to give a quick update on Coleman. We went to the doctor last Monday and he is continuing to gain. He was up to 10lb80z, which means he gained 14 ounces in 13 days and is right on track so we won't have to go back until he is 4 months old, which is next month and I can't believe.

So for now that is all the news I have and I hope that I can get my picture issues worked out and can give you some updated pictures of my boys, they are both getting so BIG!

Coleman Update!

I fully intended to do a post with pictures tonight but alas my computer is not cooperating with me so I thought I would give a little update on our little guy. Over the past few weeks Coleman has proven to be more and more like his big brother. All those bothersome weight problems we had with Charlie are rearing their ugly head again with Coleman.

We went for his two month check up and he weighted in at 9lbs3oz. To most this sounds like he is gaining weight fine as he started out at 6lb4oz and that would be three pounds in two months but I had taken his in two weeks prior just to get a weight check and he weighted in at 9lbs1oz. This means he gained 2 ounces in 10 days when he should have gained 10 ounces.

After a little talking with the doctor we decided to record everything he ate and he would still nurse and I would offer him a bottle after every feeding for a week and then come back. A week came and went and we returned and he was up to 9lb4oz. You read that right 1 ounce in 7 days when he needed to gain 7 ounces. This result meant a new plan would be set in place to see if he could gain weight.

The plan was a 72 hour formula diet and then return to nursing for 2 day and then come back for a weight check. On Monday we went back for the weight check and Coleman was up to 9lb10 which means he gained 6 ounces in 6 days, exactly what he was suppose to do. This means we know he can gain weight. I left the doctor that day relieved with a plan, Coleman will still nurse for the most part but one feeding each day will be a formula bottle just to make sure he is getting plenty of calories. We head back on March 7th for another weight check and I just pray he continues to gain and we can put this behind us.

I know I shouldn't worry especially since Charlie did this to and is now a perfect almost 3 year old! In other Coleman news he is staring to smile and coo and he is awake more then he is a sleep. He is such a happy baby and fits in to our family just perfect. He still eats every three to four hours during the day and at night he goes to bed at 7:30 has a dream feeding at 9:30 and then sleeps until 7:00 or 7:30. I still can't believe he has been with us for almost three months now I can hardly remember life before him! Hopefully I can get some pictures loaded soon!

Loving Life!

I am loving this season of my life so much right now, staying home with these boys is definitely the best decisions we have ever made.

I get to watch Charlie play and learn every day, seeing him figure things out for himself and watch him being creative is so fun. He really is a smart little guy and he doesn't forget anything, so if you make a promise to do something later it better be something you want to do!

Coleman is growing and changing everyday, he is starting to smile and coo and work on his own little personality. He now enjoys laying on his playmate and kicking the toys around and looking at himself in the mirror. He is more of a cuddle bug then Charlie ever was which I am soaking up because I know these time will end soon.

I love these boys so much and because of them and their daddy I am loving life and my "new" full time job on this rainy day!
