Charlie visited Dr. Grayson Rodgers today and much to our dismay he agreed with Dr. Joe that Charlie would need to get tubes. Based on the length of time he has fluid in his ears and the fact that he did not pass his hearing test, we all agreed it would be best and the benefits far out way the risks.
We set the day for Friday, we have to be at St. Vincents at 5:00 on Friday morning. Dr. Grayson said that the procedure is fairly short anywhere from 5 to 7 minutes but we will most likely be waiting for a little when we get there. He also assured us that it is a fairly painless procedure and that if he is upset afterwards it is more due to coming out of anesthesia then pain.
I plan to bring the camera to document this not so fun event so stay tuned for an update on Friday!
