The House

So now I am adding a litte somtheing to the mix. The hot pink bedroom with many others had to go. So we are currently in the process of doing my favorite thing in the world, PAINTING. Right, actually I would rather stick my tongue to a freezing flagpole. Anyways, we have gotten a lot done here the past week so here are some pictures. As you can probably guess the "whale" room is going to be the nursery and the yellow bath room is the upstairs guest bath. We still have the office, guest bedroom, kitchen, and 1/2 half downstairs to finish. So if you find yourself sitting around the house saying "Hey, what do you want to do today?" you are more than welcome to come grab a brush or roller, I'll let you have which ever one you want. Dixie will even keep you company.

Oh yea, the one in the oven is coming along nicely.

One Pound

We are officially 22 weeks pregnant today and only 126 days left. As of today (according to Babycenter.com) Charlie has reached the one pound mark and is about 11 inches long. I now understand why I have been so tired lately with his nice little growth spurt in the last few weeks. He still has a long way to go before he enters this world but for some reason 1 pound seems so exciting for me.

21 Weeks

Since my appointment last Monday I haven't had a chance to update, since I was busy last week helping Molly at Market in Atlanta. As of last week at 20 weeks Charlie's condo as the doctor has called it, is right on track with his due date. His heartbeat was 170 bpm, which blows the whole heartbeat can indicate the gender old wives tale out of the water. Other then that there is not to much else to report form the Doctors visit. My next appointment is Feb. 4 and I will be taking the glucose test, which I am not looking forward to. Josh continues to tell me that the stuff is not that bad but I will have to try it for my self to see if that holds true.

On another note I am starting to feel Charlie move more and more everyday and it is so exciting, I still can't wait until Josh can actually feel it. I am also waiting for the day that Dixie is laying on my stomach and Charlie gives her a swift kick, I am not sure she will know what to do. Josh said that he is sure that it will not be the last time that Dixie does get kicked by him so it will just get her use to it sooner rather then later.

We also found out last week that we will be having our second Niece.

No more updates as of now hopefully in the next few weeks I will have pictures of the nursery as we begin to work on it (that is if I can figure out how to add pictures).

Half Way There!

We have made it to the half way point in this pregnancy only 20 weeks to go! Charlie now weighs about 10 ounces and is 6 1/2 inches from crown to rump and about 10 inches from head to toe. According to babycenter.com he is now about the length of a banana and his legs are no longer curled up under him.

I finally felt Charlie move this week, I was laying on the couch watching TV and he kicked me for a good 30 minutes or so before I got up and had to do some things around the house. Since then I have felt him a little every day, I have even felt him flipping around. There is not doubt in my mind that he will be a very active baby. We have our next appointment on Monday and it should be an uneventful appointment as usual.

We are also finding out on Monday if we are going to be having a second Niece or our first Nephew! This baby is due a week after Charlie and we just can't wait to see what little baby McKenna will be. Lane really wants a baby sister and keeps telling everyone it is a girl but she also told us we were having a baby kangaroo so she might not be right, only time will tell.

Josh, Dixie and I would also like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! We have so much to look forward to in the new year and can't wait to share it all with you.
