Going, Going, Gone!

We gave CP a Popsicle on Sunday as a treat after dinner, I was going to try to help him with it but he insisted that he could do it by himself. He would cry if I held it and he acted like he didn't want it but when I took it away he got mad and pitched one of his lovely fits. So I decided that I would give it to him and see what he could do with it. It didn't take long before it was all gone and he started to pitch another fit because he didn't have anymore.
Yummy, look at me being such a big boy!
Going......
.....going......
.....all gone!!!!
I want more!

Mountain Climber......

....or just master stair climber. We now have a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs because CP can make it up the stairs in about 30 seconds so if you aren't paying attention to him he is already at the top. This wouldn't be such a problem except he hasn't really mastered coming down the steps, which we are working on, so to avoid any spills we have blocked the stairs off.

This is so not fun guys!

Linus!

Charlie has been more attached to his blanket here as of late, if it is in his sight he runs after it and drags it around behind him. If he can't find his blanket and finds something that resembles his blanket he goes after it and drags it behind him too. Tonight he was busy drinking his water and he saw his blanket he dropped his cup and decided he needed his blanket and proceeded to snuggle with it and chew on it. I love when I put him to bed now and he reaches for his blanket and snuggles up tight with it, this is one of the sweetest things I think that he is doing lately besides giving his mommy hugs.

I love my blanket these days
Forget dinner the blanket is tasty!
I love my blanket

New Bedroom!

Charlie has decided to move his bedroom from upstairs to downstairs in Dixie's room. The other night he snuck off and Josh and I found him playing in Dixie's room and he seemed quit happy with the idea of the new arrangement. I had to let him know that he would not be relocated because his room is far more clean and is bed is much more comfy.

Can I move in here?
There is so much fun to play with in this room, I wonder why I'm not allowed in here!?!?

Toes in the Sand!

Josh attempted to build a sand castle with Charlie while we were at the beach but Charlie wasn't as cooperative as his daddy would have liked. He got distracted by everything especially the shells. We were collecting shells and he kept pulling them from the pile and trying to eat them as if they were his chips. Overall he really didn't mind the sand and he was pretty steady on his feet in the wet sand not so much in the dry sand, I am hoping by labor day he will be even better and we will be able to spend more time down on the beach.

Having so much fun
He found another shell
Nap time is upon us when this face shows up!

For those that are wondering and think his bathing suit looks familiar that is because it is the bathing suit we bought for him last year to wear and it finally fits. Who would have thought my 14 month old would still be wearing some 0-3 month clothing, I guess I should complain since I am getting great wear out it.

WAVES!

Our last day on the beach Charlie was able to enjoy some time in the water playing with mommy and daddy. Charlie wasn't much for being in his float but loved to be in the water and get splashed when the waves would come rolling in.

Sun and the Sand!

After three days of rain we finally got a day where we could go out on the beach and actually enjoy it for a little. It was still a little rough in the water so Charlie didn't get to get in and play in his float instead we just stood at the shore line and let the waves crash on our feet. He didn't seem to sure of the sand today but he tolerated it and had fun walking and chasing the surf. After spending some time at the beach we headed back up to the house and played in the pool for a little bit.

Icee Pop!

Last night we thought as a treat we would give Charlie and Icee Pop, so we stripped him down and let him run around on the front porch while he ate his yummy icee. It was a great success and I am sure he will be having more while we are on vacation and maybe a few when we get home. The only thing he really didn't like about it was that it was cold so I had to hold it for him while he ate it.
Please mommy I want some
Oh so excited about my orange icee
Yummo!!!!!

Thanks so much mommy this is good!
Our little redneck!

Rainy Day!

It has been raining for the last two days that we have been at the beach so we have had to keep CP occupied while we have been inside. Here are a few pictures of what we have done while it has been raining.
A lot of napping on the couch.
A lot of staring out the window and wanting to go outside
A little bit of fussing.
But mostly smiling b/c I am playing with paper plates
We are hoping for a little break in the weather this afternoon and that tomorrow will be better. Even though it is raining we are still having a good time since we are on vacation and spending some great family time together.

RaRa thank you so much for making my outfit and helping me look festive this 4th of July!

Beachy!!!!!!

We got to the beach yesterday about noon and we were all so very glad to be here. So far Charlie seems to love everything about being here and Josh and I are so glad since we love it so much. Keep checking back for pictures from our week here. These first few are from yesterday when we went to Shug and Pops friends pool and took Charlie down to the beach to check it out.
